Current Programs
Each changing exhibition at the Woodson Art Museum is complemented by an array of youth & family and adult educational programs and hands-on activities designed to enhance learning about art.

Toddler Tuesday
A monthly adventure for children ages 2-4. Come and go as your schedule permits between 10:30 am and noon. Enjoy hands-on activities and stories that build on exhibition themes. Toddlers learn at the Museum through active involvement, using the art on view to explore the world in which they live. See current youth & family programs.

Art Explorers
Interactive art adventures for ages 8-12 that explore the many facets of art. See current youth & family programs for Art Explorers activities.
Art Park
Opened in February 2002, Art Park is the Museum's activity-filled environment for children and families. Explore treeosks with art- and nature-based activities, reading hills for relaxing with a book or an eye-spy game, costumes, and a wall full of puzzles. Designed with children in mind, Art Park appeals to the child in all of us.
OctoBIRDfest
OctoBIRDfest is the Museum’s finest and featheriest festival of the year! Step under the “big top” for family entertainment and check out the arts-and-craft projects, ten-cent games and plentiful prizes, and yummy-in-the-tummy food. A light-hearted celebration held annually in conjunction with Birds in Art. See youth & family programs for date and time.
Adult Activities
Workshops, demonstrations, lectures, and gallery walks for those 13 through adulthood who want to go beyond the artworks themselves to learn more about art or participate in make-and-take activities related to exhibitions. See current adult programs.
