Amphibians and anemones, leopards and lepidopterans, cetaceans and crustaceans – wild things all! These critters and a menagerie of other species populate the 40 photographs comprising Wild Things in a pleasing array of bold stances, demur poses, nonchalant moments, and humorous situations. Having looked wild things in the eye, a mix of professional and amateur photographers used their imaginations and intrepidness to “tame” the beasts with their lens and create a peaceable photographic kingdom. All works are from the Woodson Art Museum’s permanent collection.
