The Woodson Art Museum's annual financial needs exceed the income available
from our permanently restricted endowment, thereby necessitating active
annual and long-term fundraising. In addition to seeking support for exhibitions, educational
opportunities for participants ranging from toddlers to seniors, facility
enhancements, and collections growth, the Museum also accepts gifts of works
of art that meet its collecting focus.
Tax-deductible gifts to the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum may be made
in the form of cash, appreciated assets, property, securities, charitable
trusts, life insurance, or wills and estates. Gifts can be made to the Tribute
Fund, which supports acquisitions, in honor or in memory of individuals
or in celebration of events and milestones. Gifts to the Woodson Art Museum
– whether artwork or cash or other forms – are gifts that continue
to give as successive generations of visitors benefit from the Museum and
its highly regarded collections, wide-ranging exhibitions, and dynamic educational
programs.
