Since 1990 Team USA has annually created snow sculptures at the
Woodson Art Museum to complement exhibitions on view or the Museum's
focus on birds. World champions Mike Martino, Tom Queoff, and Mike
Sponholtz have demonstrated their competitive skills around the globe,
winning a bronze medal at the Nagano, Japan Winter Olympics in
1998.
Watch Team USA in action as 20 hours of work is condensed to six
minutes flat! The result: a seated ball player inspired by a Colima
sculpture in Las Artes de Mexico, 2010.
