Image Inspirations: Ages 9 – 12
Summer Art Sessions for Children
Tuesday & Wednesday, JULY 15 – 16, 9am – 3pm
Taking inspiration from exhibitions on view, including Sacred Nature and Double Exposure: Community Portraits, young artists will experiment with photography techniques and image-inspired making during Summer Art Sessions. Activities take place in the Museum’s classrooms, Glass Box Studio, and Sculpture Garden.
Artists ages 9 – 12 will build pinhole cameras, learn image transfer techniques, create a collaborative photo backdrop, and work together to develop a “set” to take photographs in.
Registration is required. Fee: $60 for Museum members; $85 for non-members.
