Introduction
The dedication of the Margaret Woodson Fisher Sculpture Gallery in 1995 created new collection, exhibition, and programming opportunities outdoors, closer to nature. Manicured lawns of native grasses and beautifully designed gardens featuring heirloom flowers provide an inviting backdrop for large scale sculpture as well as a range of outdoor programs.

Bronze and stone sculpture from the collection are sited in the 1.5 acre Sculpture Gallery and throughout the grounds. Thematic exhibitions are presented on a two-year cycle. On view through November 2009 is Hidden Designs: Sculpture by Wendy Ross.

The Sculpture Gallery hosts a popular summertime Concerts in the Garden series and OctoBIRDfest each fall as well as education programs spring through autumn.
