As we return to normalcy after the whirlwind that is Birds in Art opening weekend, I’ve been spending some extra time exploring the images taken during the festivities.
After being taken out by what I’ve been affectionately referring to as “the plague” (don’t worry, it was just a nasty cold) and missing the majority of the weekend, I’ve found myself getting my BIA fix through seeing everyone else’s opening experience captured in photos.
I thought I would share a few of my favorites. . .

Artists participated in various art-related activities from collaborative drawing to conversations about different mediums and processes.

Artists in Action had great attendance!

Artists mingling with old friends and meeting new ones.

We love to see a full gallery!

Screen printing was buzzing all weekend.

Who doesn’t love Jamocha?
Another opening weekend has come and gone in the blink of an eye. While mine was cut short this year, it still makes me smile to see all the fun that was had. I’m already looking forward to next year–only 353 days, but who’s counting?
