Artist in Residence: Kate Marotz

Kate Marotz is an area ceramicist who grew up in Marshfield, before attending UW-Stout where she earned a BFA with an emphasis in Ceramics and a BS in Art Education. Her practice transformed from throwing to hand building techniques and from porcelain to stoneware. She was formerly a high school art teacher and now is a full-time studio potter represented by galleries throughout the nation.
