Birds of the Great Lakes with Dexter Patterson

In collaboration with the Central Wisconsin Book Festival, join birder, storyteller, and educator Dexter Patterson for a discussion about his new guidebook Birds of the Great Lakes, inclusive birding practices, and how to get started birding with sustainability and conservation at the forefront. Dexter is a co-founder of Wisconsin’s BIPOC Birding Club, the Bird Joy Podcast, and has held numerous events to help people connect meaningfully with birds, nature, and each other.
