Learn basic hand-building techniques with Resident Artist Kate Marotz during this one-day workshop and create your own functional art inspired by seed pods, cocoons, bones, and foliage found within rural Wisconsin’s landscape. Each participant will create a ceramic cup or vessel by practicing shaping, slipping, and scoring clay and trying out coil and pinch techniques. Cups will be glazed and fired by Kate and available for pick-up after the workshop–participants will be contacted after firing is complete.

Fee: $100 for Museum members, $125 for non-members; includes all materials and lunch. Register online at the link below or call 715.845.7010. Scholarships are available.
