Histories, Techniques & Innovations in Print – Part 1

Three-Part Lecture Series

Join curators Shannon Pueschner and Amalia Wojciechowski for a three-part lecture series exploring the ideas behind Hot Off the Press. In the opening program, the two discuss the curatorial process and how exhibitions take shape from concept to gallery. The second lecture turns to the history of printmaking, tracing how artists have used the medium across centuries. The series concludes with a look at printmaking processes, from relief to lithography and serigraphy, with a hands-on demonstration that brings the techniques behind the works on view to life. Come to one or all three, prior attendance is not required.

Select Thursdays: June 4, July 2 & August 6
