Summer Art Intensive

Mark Making

Ages 14 – 18

Local high school students gather at the Glass Box Studio to strengthen their creativity and skills in mark making. Participants will build their confidence with quick prompts and guided projects as they construct mixed-media artworks and drawings, perfect for any art portfolio. Emerging artists will observe the work of contemporary and historic artists to increase their artistic vocabulary through discussion and critique during the workshop.

Summer Art Sessions encourage creativity and making for young artists during one-day workshops focusing on an array of different art forms. Explore the reimagined Summer Art Session experience for elementary, middle, and high school students inspired by the Museum’s collection and guest artist, Camry Ivory.

Register online at the link below or call 715.845.7010. All workshop materials and snacks are provided. Participants are required to provide their own bagged lunch. Scholarships are available.

Fee: $60 for Museum members, $85 for non-members.
