Volunteer

Support the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum by sharing your time and talents. Volunteers assist staff and visitors in a variety of roles and levels of commitment. Here are some of the ways to get involved:

Docents

Trained gallery interpreters who offer guided tours for visiting school and adult groups, docents train with curatorial staff to learn about collections, exhibitions, and education initiatives. For more information, connect with info@lywam.org or 715.845.7010.

Greeters

Greeters welcome visitors at the main entrance. Initial training is one-on-one with a staff member. The greeter corps enjoys an educator-led tour for each new exhibition. For more information, email info@lywam.org or call 715.845.7010.

SPARK! Friends

SPARK! is a social engagement program for individuals with early- to mid-stage memory loss and their care partners. SPARK! friends serve as program companions during in-gallery experiences and art making in the classroom. For more information, email info@lywam.org or call 715.845.7010.
