High School Students: Submit Entries for Portrait Exhibition

Area high school students are invited to submit entries, now through February 19, for a portrait exhibition at the Woodson Art Museum this spring. Humans of Wausau is a juried exhibition, organized by members of the Wausau Area High School Leadership Program (WALP). The exhibition is modeled after the “Humans of New York” photography series and blog and is inspired by the people and stories of North Central Wisconsin. A jury comprising three area artists will select artwork for the exhibition, on view March 19 through May 22 at the Woodson Art Museum.

Submission Requirements

  • Artwork can be no larger than 16”x 20”
  • Artwork image file must be a minimum of 72 dpi and the largest dimension must be 7 inches
  • Online submissions and entry form accepted Monday, February 1 through Friday, February 19

*Wausau East, Wausau West, D.C. Everest Senior High School, Newman Catholic High School, Marathon High School, and Mosinee High School

Students will receive an email confirming their selection for the Humans of Wausau exhibition and instructions for submitting an artist statement and original artwork on Wednesday, February 24
