Painting Biathlon
SAVE THE DATE | SATURDAY, JANUARY 30, 10 AM
Flex your athletic and artistic skills during this unique family-friendly event at the Nine Mile Forest Recreation Area organized in collaboration with the Wausau Nordic Ski Club and visiting artist Marina Mangubi.
Participate in the first-ever Painting Biathlon competition, combining cross-country skiing and painting. Competitors will ski and stop to make a quick painting as part of the race; the audience decides whether the paintings hit their marks. All levels of skiing and art experience are welcome. Art materials and ski rentals will be provided. Spectators are also invited to join outdoor and indoor art activities hosted by Museum staff during this free, one-day event.
