Throughout the months since fall 2020, Woodson Art Museum staff created several Mini Makes and Wee Build Workshop projects, including a miniature museum Micro Modernism exhibition, a grand-but-miniature gallery space for small-scale classical sculpture, along with brief videos, and several blog posts.
Mini Makes blog posts
The first blog post in October 2020 focused on the initial project: tiny furniture created for a staff member’s grandchildren to discover in a tree trunk during a walk in the woods.
As Wee Build Workshop projects progressed throughout fall and winter 2020 and into spring 2021, other blog posts featured insights into aspects of the projects:
- behind-the-scenes take on the first Mini Makes video
- “review” of the first Mini Makes exhibition, Micro Modernism
- miniature gallery “review” that included the debut of the Mini Makes: Classical Sculpture
