WAUSAU, WISCONSIN: Artwork from 125 artists from throughout the world will be included in this year’s 37th annual Birds in Art exhibition, on view September 8 through November 11, at the Woodson Art Museum.
Those included in the 2012 exhibition include seven Wisconsin artists, thirty-three international artists, nineteen first-time Birds in Art artists, and nineteen artists who have been named Master Artists during previous Birds in Art exhibitions.
The Birds in Art exhibition, well into its fourth decade of presenting original paintings, sculptures, and graphics created within the last two years by artists from the world over, once again celebrates the timeless appeal of birds through fresh artistic interpretations.
